This app is too COOL
I own this app for the iPad and was honestly expecting more with such a difference in price. I thought for sure that my 10 dollars would get me more than the limited number of tasks that I can already do in iPhoto on my Mac. Clone is basically the only tool that makes the difference for my 10 dollars. And seeing as how it works exactly the same on my iPad and iPhone it ends up being pointless for me. Why spend the money in the first place you ask? To behonest I actually like the app for its use on the ipad and iPhone. The price point is reasonable and the features find themselves handy enough to make use of on a regular basis. My thinking was that this App would at least run better on my Mac or at least bring along the easy interface it has on its mobile versions to the desktop. Perhaps even take them to the next level of conveinence. That way I would be pressed to make use of it. NOPE. Even with its ultra simple features and bare bones apporach the app still relentlessly crashes and cant handle retriving my photos smoothly to make it worth my time. From what I can tell when I actually get app to stick around in an open window the experience just seems empty and in no way worth its price tag. This app shouldnt be any more than 4 or 5 dollars for the desktop or laptop versions. Even for a person who may not have the ability to make use of its exact clone on mobile devices and might find more use of all its tools. I was duped out of 10 bucks. Dont be like me. Enjoy the mobile versions of this app if you have the ability and save your money. iPhoto does 90% of what this app does and does it better. The desktop version is a con job
Crashes all the time on Mavericks
Althouht this App has a lot of cool features, it is totally unstable. It crashes all the time and freezes your other open apps until you force quit.
Excellent, replaces my old PS6
I have an old Mac Pro. It had a massive boot & main board failure. I could no longer re-load PS6. Few good photo editors available for OS Mojave. THIS app is a really welcome positive alternative. Still learning it's suprising and extensive features. At this proce-point I didn't hesitate. Very glad I got it.

I have Photoshop, but this little program is easy to jump in when you need some easy fixes.

Amazing Clone Stamp Feature
Perfect software for my desktop for photo editing. Was looking for something specifically that did clone stamp out there, and it was hard to find! Then I found this app, and it has been very efficient for my photo editing needs!
DO NOT BUY! Doesn’t work
I think these reviews are fake. It was a waste of money and apple doesn’t refund. I requested a refund in less than a day of trying to work with it and apple denied the refund.

I took a chance on this program and used it for the 1st time today. I used it for line removal to eliminate high power line from a photo of a beautiful sunrise—perfect. I used it to remove a leech field vent post from an otherwise excellent photo—perfect. I use it to remove an object covering a section of siding on a building exterior wall—the object disappeared and was replaced with perfectly matching siding. I am totally satisfied with this program so far after my 1st uses of it.

I was hesitant to buy this app, but I’m so glad I did! As a real estate agent, there’s always something in photos that shouldn’t be there. This app makes removing unwanted objects super easy. I’ve just started using it, and I love it!
DOES NOT WORK
**WARNING** DO NOT PURCHASE for object removal. Object removal feature does not properly remove the objects. It simply clones the edges to the center of the object being removed. So the result is a horrible replacement of the object. You can get the same effect for free by simply copying a rectangle the same size as the object to be removed and pasting it several times over the object. This is NOT an AI object removal tool.
Too Many Steps to Export
The App works ok, but once you need to export to my Mac, there are just too many steps. My old app would export directly to Photos.
One small problem
I think this is a really great app, but I have one small problem with it. Frequently it clones instead of removing. Perhaps I am doing something wrong but quite often when I am trying to remove an object, I will get a clone of a nearby area. Am I doing something wrong?
I've been using Touch Retouch a long time
Theres still nothing better and or faster for removing unwanted stuff in your photos. I use it on both my MacBook and Android Phone and it works across all platforms which is great. I have referred it to many of my friends who love it. I wished the, tone & color and cropping options here on OSX were available on the Android app too, that's the only thing I can ding. I wish all apps were half this good!

This is not a perfect app, but it is an EXCELLENT app, and well worth having!! I got it initially to remove objects while working w/ photos in Photoshop. This is a great tool.

Dead App
We've been using TouchRetouch and loving it for so many years, until It died. It was very reliable, very easy to navigate and did a superb job. Not anymore. The app is dead since I updated my computer to MAC OS Ventura and all the updates. Now it won't even entertain a thought of working in the Photos app as an extension. TouchRetouch was my go to. Not. now. I don't want the stand alone, I want the Photos Extension app. This software does not like Ventura! lol
Works great but no mesh removal
One of the best apps for removing unwanted lines or objects from a picture. However, unlike the IOS version for ipads and iphones the mac version doesn't have the mesh removal. Would like to see that added to the mac version
Really beat my expectations
I've had the mobile app for years, but I think the software has really improved since then. I just purchased the desktop version, and it also seems even better at blending, and easier to use on a large screen. 10 out 10, would purchase again.
Truly the best I've used for retouching photos
As if my magic, the base backgrounds appear when removing any foreground object. I'm amazed at the pinpoint accuracy of TouchRetouch. Well done to the developers.

Easiest app for removing unwanted objects
As easy and highlight and click, boom object gone. App is great but is a bit limited as far as other tools, enhncemnts, filters etc. But super easy to use and grteat tutorials

Solid focused tool
I own Lightroom and Photoshop but sometimes you just need to do some simple retouching quickly and don't need the bloat of Adobe products. This app is perfect for this. It's great as it also ties into Apple Photos making it simple to do edits straight from my photos library.
Improvement Needed In Export
The iPad version of Touch Retouch is terrific. However the Mac OS version does not seem to export the edited picture directly back to Photos. Gotta use a fiddly proceedure where I text the corrected photo to myself then download it. What am I missing?
didnt work at all for me
didnt work for me. I got the app to delete someone from a picture. every time I try, the app simply takes the surrounding people and swirls them into the place where the person I deleted used to be. this makes the picture useless. and therefore, the app as well. Now granted, there may be some trick I am missing here. but when I remove the person in the picture. other aticles in the picture are swirled into the space where the person used to be. I would love to know how to fix this if thats possible. it would change my ratign as well.
Where Have You Been All My Life?!
I have been looking for an APP that would do exactly as advertised without charging and "arm and a leg." I came across this one by accident. I read the reviews and watched the reviews and immediately purchased it. I am still learning my way around the app. First photo edit was a huge success. The second two were not. Again, I need to work with the app more before all my photo edits are successes.

Bar none, better for correction than even Photoshop!
Correcting photos has no other better tool than this TouchRetouch. You really can't nor would want this to do anything else, but this is so much better than the same tools on Photoshop and it's not nearly as expensive!!!

Greatest Photo correction ever!
I have been using TouchRetouch since it first came out on all my Apple products, MacBook, iPhone and iPad and is fantastic and quick. I've tried a number of other photo-correction products, and I always come back to TouchRetouch ... It's the best!
Outstanding, Easy To Use & Best Cropping Tool Ever
The best object remover I've ever used. Cloning is a breeze, too. But the hidden gem in this app is the CROP tool, which allows you align and rotate images as in Apple's Photos. This alone is worth the purchase.

Overall it is very good but there are problems. There are at least two versions which complicates things. I have one on my iPhone and one on my Mac. They are not the same. In addition, asking for support I find there is ANOTHER one somewhere which they suggested to solv problems. I find it also confusijng as to where they are saved. There are so many (e.g. F, d, E, etc) but I can't find miy saved work. This is a work in progress but in the end,the support has been great. Thanks.
Much better than Apple's stock "retouch" feature
This program is magical. The retouch feature is much better than Apple's, and the Clone feature is a lifesaver. Apple should buy this company merge its features into the stock Photos app.

I am a daily Photoshop user, always under some sort of deadline. I've been waiting for something like this to come along. If you use Pshop, you MUST have this in your bag of tricks. Absolutely fantastic!
A Breeze!
I'm using this app to edit photos for my album (which is a pretty big deal!) I haven't had to toil all day to acheive realistic effects. I appreciate how easy it is to use TouchRetouch.
Clever, Precise, Artistic!
This program gets results faster than any other I have used, without blundering into areas that are best left to other programs. It is possible to salvage portions of shots that would otherwise be worthless. The appeal of obliterating small distractions cleans up the appearance of everything from portrait to landscape.
Does its one purpuse brilliantly
Touch retouch is a go to extension and standalone app to have in your graphic design arsenal. This little tool enable you to erase objects and so much more. It automatically plugs into photos and editing on your phone or computer is seamless. I recently found out you can edit 360 photos with it as well. I use primarily for my real estate photography and it always helps when I have to do a post photo shoot cleanup to get rid of my reflections in mirrors and also to tidy up some rooms of random clutter. This is a life saver and one of my all time favorite apps.

I use this app alllllllll the time. I use it for anything and everything I want to remove. It is so much fun and makes my pictures much more appealing. It is also fun to show it to a friend and have them gasp at the "like magic" removal of an unwanted item. I highly recommend this app.
One of the Easiest ways to remove an object
I bought this app on my iPhone first simply as a test to see if this app was worth the hype. It definitely is! What is easier than simply selecting what you don't want in a photo and hitting remove? The software has some intelligent way of knowing horizon lines and keeping them intact. I was so impressed with this app not only did I recommend it to my friends, but also bought it for my Mac as well. Great job!
Easier that photoshop and almost as good
Working with this as a plug in out of Lightroom speeds things up significantly. Doesn't have features like content aware fill, but for the everyday stuff, it's great. Highly recommended.

This app is the worst. It can not remove an object. It makes the person look distorted. No thanks I’d like my money back.

Wow! I have been looking for a photo editing program that would allow me to EASILY remove unwanted background objects and touch up the background of the removed object so that it appeared photo-realistic. I looked at multiple apps claiming to do that but, thankfully, their free trials proved otherwise. I came across TouchRetouch while looking at possible apps on my iPad, went to the developer’s web site, and found there was a Mac version (my preferred platform for photo editing). I spent about 10 minutes familiarizing myself with the app’s tools and functions. Then, in less than 20 minutes I removed six people in the background of a photo of my wife and I at Stonehenge. I showed the before and after photos to my wife, who was astonished. I wish I could upload the before and after photos so you could see for yourself what a novice easily accomplished. One hint from a reviewer of the iPad version: use the zoom feature to enlarge the photo details so you can accurately use the brush or lasso to highlight details to remove. If you overshoot an edge, use the eraser to remove as needed. The clone tool is also a very, very clever feature. If have been looking for a photo editing program to easily remove unwanted objects, look no further. This program is amazing and easy to use. It is more than deserving of my 5-star review and I encourage you to consider it for your photo editing needs.
